The owners of JD’s Gym would like to announce that we are moving to a new location in 2026. We will be teaming up with American Muscle in Crystal City. We would first like to thank all of you for all your support over the years at this location. You have allowed us to realize our dream of opening a gym and bringing fitness and strength to so many people. Just to be clear, this is not the end of JD’s we are just continuing at another location.
What this means:
1) The good people at American Muscle will honor our $30 monthly rate for all JD’s members who sign up in the first month. Your membership at JD’s, however, does NOT automatically transfer over. But as long as you sign up by June 1st, that rate remains until you cancel your membership. You will also need to buy a keycard to enter the gym, and you will need to sign up at the Crystal City location (they will have the list of all our current members).
2) You will have access to ALL their gyms including the one closet to us in Oakville. Once you join at Crystal City, you are a member at all their locations.
3) We are moving the whole gym to the Crystal City location so we will still have the cage, heavy bag rack, all the Strongman equipment, as well as all the wonderful equipment American Muscle already has.
4) Our last day at the Lemay Ferry location will be on 4/24/26 and we will be moving all our equipment to Crystal City
5) Your last full payment will be on 3/20/26. Those individuals with a payment date on the 5th will only be charged $10 on 4/5/26. After that date, no more fees will be taken out by JD’s Gym.
Again we appreciate all of you and the little community of strength that you have helped us build here. We look forward to seeing you at the new location this year.

A: No, we are moving to a new location in Crystal City.

A: No, you must go to the Crystal City location to sign up before June 1st.
4) Q: When is the last day I will be charged?
A: 3/20/26 for individuals who pay on the 20th and then a $10 charge on 4/5/26 for those who pay on the 5th.
5) Q: How do I get the special JD’s Member rate at American Muscle?
A: I will provide a list of all our current members to the location in Crystal City. As long as you have not cancelled before we move, you will be on the list. Simply give them your name and they will provide you with the $30 rate which remains for as long as your membership is active. You will also need to buy a keycard when you sign up.
6) Q: Can I use all the American Muscle locations in addition to the one in Crystal City?
A: Yes, your membership is good at all the locations.
7) Q: Is all the equipment at JD’s going to Crystal City?
A: Yes, although we will put a few items in their other locations, the vast majority of all our equipment, machines, cage, etc. are going to the Crystal City location.
8) Q: If I don’t want to join American Muscle, do I need to do anything to cancel my membership after April?
A: No, your membership automatically be canceled in April and you will not be charged again.
